Software architect: A mason who can lay brick is not necessarily the best person to design a brick building.
A programmer who can place a button on a form is not necessarily the best person to know where or IF to place a button.
Good software has TWO criteria for success:
One: The ability to perform useful work.
Two: Is usable by a human to perform that useful work.
VB is a tremendous tool for making software that people can use to perform useful work. Figuring out how to enable humans to perform useful work (including using VB) is what I like best. Actually writing the programs isn't, but I usually manage. With help from folks here!
