Full Biography

I'm new to EE, but not computing. I'm a grad student at UT-Austin doing a Ph.D. in logic and recursion theory. As an undergrad, I did computer science, philosophy and economics. I guess I'm more of a theoretician, than a concrete expert with respect to any one piece of software. Nevertheless, I've had a fair amount of concrete training and experience with things like industrial webdev and basic applications programming. In CS, probably my biggest strength is algorithms.

Lately, I've gotten involved in a couple of projects that are forcing me to expand my general knowledge. And EE seems like a fun place for collaboration.

All this is code for: "Don't be suprised if I ask a really stupid question about MS Access, and then wind-up turning it into an overextended investigation about its relation to some idea I take to be a candidate for a fundamental principle of the universe!! Just tell me to shut up and learn Access!!"

Thanks to all my teachers, here and elsewhere!!
