More bioI have been in IT for about 12 years now, working in different capacities, paying my dues as a technician, and moving up in the chain to a system administrator, and system engineer, and today, I am responsible for a whole network infrastructure at a large school district.
It's a really fulfilling and challenging job, but most of all, I am constantly exposed to new technologies, and problems to which I have to find solutions. Scaling is one of the industry's biggest challenges, and it is constantly mine as I look to expand my infrastructure day after day. Throughout this journey, I have learned quite a few things and am hoping to be able to help those in the same boat as me.
I am highly motivated, and highly resourceful, and always count on my own resources to find answers, however, sometimes, it is more beneficial to get answers to a real-life situation from a peer than reading a white paper, or a theoretical document.
That said, my small disclaimer:
Please remember that any information I provide is solely based on my own experience and research. Always always make sure to TEST, TEST, TEST before putting any solutions in production. Every environment is unique, and the advice that I will give you is based on best practice and my own experience. So always remember to re-evaluate solutions given to you in EE on your own, and see if they make sense and fit in your unique environment.
