I have completed a BSc Hons Conmputing and Informatics, University of Plymouth.

I have been working for Business Objects in Paris for 2 years, however I am seeking contracting positions in the field of Business Objects development and deployment.

I have been working in the specialised area Performance and Scalability gaining experience in variety of benchmarking techniques, that help judge the performance, stability and sizing measures required for a variety of systems. I also have knowledge in the configuration of a variety of mainstream products including database packages, application servers, web servers and other software. Both for Windows systems and UNIX systems including Solaris, HP-UX and AIX.


My interests are various web technologies, with a strong understanding of Perl and CGI Scripting, XML.  I am also keen to get grips with VBScript, ASP, .NET, SOAP and C# but I have not had the time to pursue any development in these fields.

I have an understanding of a variety of database packages, these include MS Access 97, Oracle, SQL Server 7 and SQL Server 2000.
