I'm a professional software developer (originally graduated as an engineer in tech. physics - for the English world, that's probably a Master's degree in Engineering) and familiar with C/C++ on DOS, Windows 3.x/9x, Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista/7, OS/2, HP-UX, Linux, OSF/1, SCOUnix, Solaris, Ultrix, FreeBSD, VAX/VMS.
Technologies: Networking (mainly TCP/IP), RPC, Win32, (D)COM, multi/cross-platform development (mostly Win32/UN*X) (anyone noticed I did not mention MFC? I use it when I have to, but I consider GUIs to be a necessary evil ;-)
