Why I chose the IT industry:  The genesis of my career began very simply; I love to create and I am fascinated by the ever-increasing power of computers and software to enrich our lives in so many ways.  It's shiny.  : )

Interests:  Arduino, electronics, home automation, Artificial Intelligence, 2 way tools, mobile game creation, GO, chess, nano-tech, UI, Visual Communications, Minecraft (did you know that you can create your own working computer inside of Minecraft?  Or make a phone call?)

Recently implemented fast and very responsive SPA application for this non-profit organization.  The Utah Kids Foundation helps the parents of special needs children find resources and support .  The website provides information on the Board Members, Community Events that are special-needs-friendly, a photo gallery and a rotating carousel with stylized fading images as well as contact information for questions about special needs resources in Utah.  Hosted on Apache Server with PHP.  Single Page App implemented via Angular routing.  MySQL backend.  Layout managed via CSS, Bootstrap and jQuery.

Previous versions of the site used the Microsoft technology stack (C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server) as well as JavaScript, jQuery, CSS and Bootstrap.
