Full Biography

Looks like I registered this account ages ago and then promptly forgot about it. I've recently become active again (since mid October 2008).

Been using computers for a long time. My areas of knowledge are mainly in :
Generic Linux (been using Linux to various degrees since about 1994).
Networking protocols. Mostly the Internet protocols, and especially how Windows behaves on the network.
Lower end router/firewall/switch gear (up to the cheaper end of Cisco).
Generic knowledge about PC hardware (praise Babbage that we finally got rid of ISA)
Troubleshooting various kinds of computer related problems, mostly Windows, Linux and network stuff.
Lots of useless trivia about old systems like the C64, Amiga, Ms-DOS.
