I have a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the University of Cape Town in South Africa. I have programmed in many languages, but am currently using Java, Python and SQL. I have extensive C experience, and have used C++, Perl and Delphi.

I have experience with, and have developed on UNIX (System V, Solaris, FreeBSD), Linux (mainly Debian) and Windows (3.1, 98, 2000, 2003 Server, XP) operating systems.

From an analytic point of view, I have experience with the R Statistical Analysis Environment, Queuing Theory, Petri Net Modeling, Markov Chain Analysis and Event-driven Simulation.

My Masters degree was in the field of "Computer Network Traffic Modeling and Analysis", and had the title: "A Web Browsing Workload Model for Simulation".

I have 3 years of industry experience as a software engineer for an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) software house.
