started out qbasic, wrote good Pascal, migrated to c and hated it, immidiately fell in love with c++ and therefore php. Discovered thanks to mySQL that an insert query is more than what you do after dinner & a movie. Proudly navigated and configed apache, php, and mysql on 2k.
