Well, I figure I might as well give some info about myself, in case anyone actually reads these things.
I'm currently (as of today, 7/28/04) 27 years old. I had no interest in computers until after I graduated highschool, when I was trying to figure out what I wanted to be. I decided to take Network Engineering at the local community college. I had no prior computer experience to that. In my first computer class (BCS 110), I was probably the only person that had to ask my neighbor how to turn on the pc. I didn't know some of them had power switches in the back! Anyways, graduated there with a 2 year degree. While going to college, I was working full time in construction. I continued to work contruction for the next 2 years until I finally got a job doing Microsoft technical support. I worked my way into becoming an escalation engineer there, which was a pretty cool job. Then Microsoft closed all U.S. based support and sent all of those jobs to India. Luckily, I heard about an "unlisted" job for a Network Administrator position, applied for it, and got it. Only had 4 days between jobs! So that's what I'm doing now, along with being addicted.... I mean dedicated to working problems on this site.
I think this is an amazing resource and have been thrilled to be a part of it! Great job EE!
