I am the Lead Pre-Sales Engineer in for Citrix Systems in the Networking business unit, covering State and Local Government agencies along the East Coast. This means that I am the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners that require information and guidance regarding Citrix Networking products (including those formerly branded CloudBridge and NetScaler). I answer technical questions, conduct product demonstrations, assist with Proof of Concept deployments, and even give presentations at gatherings and marketing events.
Leading up to my time here, I worked in a number of different roles - many of them not specifically part of a Sales organization. I came to learn that what I really enjoy doing is helping customers take the mystery out of technology and find creative ways to solve business problems with technology. I just never realized that there were actual job titles out there that described the folks that did this sort of stuff!
I thoroughly enjoy working with technology and helping people to better understand different aspects of it. It's very rewarding to help a customer understand that they can absolutely provide a solution to a business requirement, and that they may already have much of what they need at their disposal.
