More bioI am an Access programmer in the Miami, Florida area. I have over 5 years of experience developing complete applications in Access and over 10 years of industry experience.
My strengths are programming, database design, and training.
I have completed many multi-user MS Access applications. I am comfortable with all phases of a project SDLC, from requirements gathering, to development, to installation, to training, to maintenance.
I am an instructor at a local College. I teach many classes including all the MS Office applications (including MS Access) to the expert level. I am availble for one-on-one and group training at your site. While employed as an IT Manager at a large international bank, I became very comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical executives and managers.
The ideal project would be done quickly, cheaply, and with high quality... In practice, you get to choose at most two of the three. I believe in setting these types of expectations before starting a project. It's all about understanding the client's priorities and honoring those priorities throughout the project. Programming and database design are easy to do well, the real challenge is in truly understanding a client's needs.
I have a Bachelor in Business Administration degree in MIS (Management Information Systems) and am currently working on a masters in MIS.
