Support of all IT systems across the whole company, including the servers running on windows 2008 and Exchange 5.5 upgraded to Exchange 2003, working to Service Level Agreements by either remote connection or visiting the site, including some       work in hospitals.  
As new server equipment and software became available I had a key role in project planning upgrades and installation of the equipment.  
Ensuring all backups ran and restored any information when required.  
This position was made redundant due to company downsizing.

X-Tant LTD, IT support engineer for the local office.  Working to the company’s SLA's, liaising with clients and suppliers. Troubleshoot any IT related faults, configure new IT equipment to work on the LAN/WAN, monitoring of the Windows servers including any maintenance required on a daily basis.   While working for X-Tant I was able to study for my MCP in windows 2000 server, Advanced server and Exchange 5.5.

Evesham Micros, Customer technical support engineer, covering all aspects of IT support on the telephone, ensuring quality of service, resolving all issues either on the telephone or by sending an engineer to site.
Company goals were for each engineer to cover approximately 80 to 100 phone calls or emails per day, with an allowance of 5 On site visits per week.
As an engineer, we were responsible for keeping up to date with new       technologies to stay ahead of any possible issues that may have occurred.
I left this position to upgrade my work status working with networks and server equipment.

Full Biography

Working as an Infrastructure Engineer and 3rd line support for an agricultural University.
I have a good knowledge of a wide range of I.T systems including windows 2000, XP Professional, Windows 7 and 8.1, Server 2000/2003, Office 2000/2007, Active Directory and Exchange, Backup and Antivirus Software. Also VMWare, NetApp,  Treesize and Vivantio ticket system.
This has given me experience in customer focus, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
I am able to work with people to communicate technology in a way they can understand to ensure they get the most benefit.
Currently I am studying towards CISSP, CISA, CCNA Security, Cisco 100-101 ICND1 and Cisco 200-101 ICND2.
