I have been running Linux - SuSE/RedHat/Mandrake - Since 1996.  My employment responsibilities include system administration of Linux, AIX, Solaris. I have some experience with Ultrix and HP/UX.  I have been a Unix system administrator since 1990.  Been running windows since its infancy - experienced in all flavors.  Strong comm/networking background including protocols, security and firewalls.  Oracle Certified Professional DBA.  Experienced in many programming languages including C, C++, C#, Ada, Fortran, and a plethora of assemblers.  Been programming both for gainful employment and as a hobby since 1980.  I am now a partner in a computer performance consulting business, House of Brick Technologies (http://www.houseofbrick.com).

While it is dangerous to declare oneself an expert, I do have a broad background of experience to draw from.
