Since 1999, I am in the field of information technology (software engineering), where I have been repeatedly recognized for developing innovative solutions and globally deployed software and systems. I am responsible for full lifecycle development of next-generation software, from initial requirement gathering to design, coding, testing, documentation, implementation, deployment, support and management. With this experience, I can offer the organization a specialism with broad application.

Currently I am serving TPL Trakker Limited as Manager Development and managing a team of software engineers, developing solutions to cater the day-to-day business of TPL Direct Insurance. The new solution is being developed using ASP.Net and SQL Server integrated with Oracle Financials, and will replace the existing legacy application written in Java.

As a hobbyist freelancer, I provide different businesses with software solutions including but not limited to Content Management Systems (CMS), Document/Media Management Systems, e-Commerce Solutions etc. developed utilizing and enhancing open source solutions.

Earlier I was involved in developing and implementing desktop and web solutions including a series of connected Brain Storming (Mind Mapping) applications, working closely with the group of researchers at Case University Ohio, USA; based upon their research on artificial intelligence; while developing web services to interact with the applications implementing SOA.

Technically speaking, I am hands on with:
•      Developing both desktop and web applications, using .Net framework and MFC (VC++)
•      Fluency in five scripting/programming languages (i.e. C#, VC++, VB, JavaScript and SQL)
•      Advanced knowledge of application development tools like VS2010, VSTO, MSMQ, SourceSafe and Team System, WCF and LINQ
•      Methodologies and best practices (including OOD, client/server architecture and SOA)

My specialty is designing and implementing plug-in based desktop/web applications and using SOA where possible.
