I am a simple man; started back in the 80's with a Commodore 64 and worked my way up since then. I hold a Technical Degree in Electronics from Argentina and an Associates in Information Systems from the Dallas Community College District. I currently work for one of the largest Telco's in the U.S. on its IT Services department as a consultant DBA / SysAdmin & jack of all trades.
I am an amateur and weekend .NET developer / apprentice -just know enough to get myself in trouble, and sometimes get others out of it. I am rather persistent and if I know you have a problem and you are willing to learn and pay attention, I will help you get things resolved. What motivates me? Your effort and drive to know more and make things better. But don't expect me to hand over a solution you can plug & run with just like that without showing me you want to learn or understand something first.
Regarding my track record on EE, even though it might not be nothing stellar next to individuals who have ten to 100 times more expert points than I do, I think it's worth mentioning that I've attained Master certification on MS SQL & SQL 2005 Zones and overall Guru level within 45 days of joining EE. I am hoping I can help you solve your problem and return to a community that has given me so much.
Like many others, I jumped on the blogging bandwagon. You can visit it anytime to read some of the articles, rants & reviews I've published at www.myrotarycar.com -and as you've probably guessed, I have a sweet spot for cars: Mazda RX cars to be precise; and here is my LinkedIn profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/pereiramiguel
