I'm Nick and I live in Holland. I like programming, volleybal and social life. I'm known as Ray2003, my alias. I've helped quiet a lot of people at programmersheaven.com and currently found experts-exchange.com. Quiet similar sites, but EE has the points-system, what's quiet a good thing so that programmers response fast. Anyway, I want to say that I'm not going to response to get points or rank or whatever is linked to it. It's enough that I know that I'm good. I'm there to actually help people, not for collecting points. That's the reason why I don't come here very often. When I've got time, I'm able to help people. I do that because I once was very new to programming and needed a lot of help. The people of programmersheaven forum helped me, and I was so happy of that, that I wanted to help people too. That's the reason why I answer questions sometimes.

I've been programming for 8+ years. Started out in QBASIC at a commodore64(C64) without knowing I was programming. 5 years ago I started real programming in VB6 and became VERY experienced in it. From 5 years ago I learned a bit of every popular programming language from C++ to JS. I'm also VERY experienced in encryption algorithms, and studied them non-stop for a whole year.

Currently I'm going to program a real 3D-game, to be more specific: an action\volleybalgame. Therefore I'm currently learning DirectX in combination with VB6, only some engine functions will be written in C.
