More bioA technical executive for both software and hardware teams, divisions, and organizations, with a strong business development background. This gives a unique view on running engineering with an eye to both business and technical side trade offs. I have experience in software development (mostly Objective-C, C & assembly), embedded systems, video games, interactive TV, broadband, set top box design, and software security.
I am currently working again with Edison Labs, a technical consulting group. I also spend free time writing product reviews, blogs, and commentary on all things Mac and iOS for Mymac.com, an online magazine for Apple enthusiasts.
Before Edison Labs the second time, I was VP of Customer Experience for castAR, an AR headset startup, Before castAR I was CTO for Innovative Leisure Inc, a mobile game developer. Before Edison Labs the first time, I was VP of Applications and Field Engineering at a start-up called Rapport Incorporated, working on a new, low power, parallel computing multi-core processor.
Prior to that I was Sr. VP for software security company Arxan Technologies in San Francisco, where we created some amazing technology to harden applications against tampering or modification. You have to see it to believe it.
There is of course much more than that, and you can read about my other experiences in my background section on LinkedIN.
