I graduate as Aeronautical Engineer in 1976, and began at that time my post graduate in Computer Sciences. The MSc program was abandoned (because I changed job and city) just afterwards, and in 1995 I was able to come back and finish my MSc program in Computer Sciences.
I have been working in software developments since 1977 (IBM 1130, PDP11, Fortran, etc), and I still try not to become obsolete. I currently work with C++ (object oriented design and implementation), MFC, Windows 95 and NT, etc.
I have worked for the Brazilian National Institute of Space Research from 1980 to 1998, and I work currently at UNESCO in Paris at the Division of Information Systems and Telecommunications.
