I have been a developer / IT professional for over 12 years.   I have worked extensively with perl, php, python, ruby, java, C, and Visual Basic (VB in the late 90s).   I am the author of the Nmap::Scanner perl module and the following other sf.net projects: cacinda.sf.net, lmf.sf.net, and es4a.sf.net.

I have very solid experience with system administration on Solaris and Linux.   I run a small web hosting business and I do a lot of work with network management and monitoring as well as software design and implementation and system design and implementation.  I have some decent experience with Cisco networking devices and have worked with a few other vendors' L2 and L3 switches/routers as well.  FInally, I have helped set up, establish, and enhance processes for development teams and other IT teams.
