User of home computers for over 20 years, starting with Commodore 64s, and graduating to IBM-PCs and Macintosh. I don't claim any special expertise, just an intuition for detecting and solving many types of problems that crop up in managing a computer system, many applications, and memory management. I have little programming experience. I simply enjoy working with computers, manage a faculty Mac laboratory of some 24 computers, and troubleshoot for my department. Most of what I know comes from making mistakes and discovering the solution!
As for Travel-Asia section, I teach Asian history and culture at a university, travel widely in Asia and take tour groups to remote and exciting places.
