Started with computers at age 7 on my first ATARI 520 ST (codename: Jackintosh), this thing had a great 512 KB of RAM and a external disk of !!10MB!! and was running on TOS (The Operating System). Aah, the good old days with the real fancy names :)
This was realy the first time I did meet Windows, the ST 520 had it all, A-disk, a bin, windows to type in etc... (My guess is that Bill had one to). Offcourse at that age I was not realy intereseted in knowing how the things worked, I only wanted to type, play games and make so graphical things(the good old Corel Draw). Still playing at age of 8 I started to get tired of the black/white monitor so I went to the computer-shop for the first time... Bought a convertor so I could attach my Tele onto my computer and play in color... At that age I did not know what I was doing, my dad had given it a try but it did not work, and I was still playing black/white. During mid-summer on a early morning I did try, without my dad knowing, to attach the convertor, after 15 mins and a reboot I got my colors...
This is how it all started
I started to learn DOS because our systems where switching to it, we had our first network connection in 1990, between the ST260 and our ST1040... Since that day I never stopped with computers and networking.
