I've been using computers since I was a kid -- like 30 years ago. Currently, I'm a security consultant and project manager for a Popular Desktop firewall. In the past I've been:
QA Team Lead for internal tools at Cybertrust where I worked on an various parts of a Network Scanner used to inventory networks and disclose various security problems those networks may have.
QA Team lead for the McAfee Personal Firewall and AOL Free Firewall by McAfee.
 Tech Support and defacto QA team lead for the ConSeal PC firewall and ConSeal Private desktop products.

Given my contractual obligations I cannot answer questions about the operations of competitors firewall, antivirus, anti-spyware, anti-spam, or parental controls software. I can answer general questions about the theory and practice of defending consumer, business or high risk internet emplacements.

Oddly enough, I'm an expert at working from home. I've been employed for 7 years at various companies whose HQ I've never visited and reported to various Manger I've never met. I sit in phone conferences and talk to folks I've never met. It's too cool for words! Viva la Internet!

How to use Security software in Home, Home Office, and satellite office situations.
How to test security software
Linux (Redhat, and Suse).
general firewall questions for a wide variety of OS's -- especially those that deal with firewall and proxy policies.
configuration management with Acronis TruImage. I'm less skilled at using ghost and sysprep.  
How to make the best use of Virtual machine Technologies like VirtualPC and VMware.
Proper use of PGP, GPG and S/Mime
How to make and troubleshoot iso and other image file formats
Budget oriented computing.
