**Update February 2010*** Doesnt seem like i enjoy staying with companies for too long :O) Have now moved to new position as a system and database development manager for a large healthcare organisation in northampton. this is great as im now half home based and spend more time with teh family. Baby is no longer a baby and now wants to learn how to compute just like his dad... kids are scary in a good way :O)
***Update October 08*** I have started a new job as a roaming data analyst for a leisure centre company which means I dont have a s much free time to get on here as i used to especially with teh little un. I will connect up as often as possible and hope I can assist some of you still in the future. :O)
***Update July 2008*** My baby boy Jayden has been born as of 3rd July at 5.37am therefore taking a short time out of EE whilst i come to terms with having no sleep and stinky nappies. Ill return every now and then to keep an eye on current questions and then will join back up after my paternity leave finishes around the back end of July

Still fairly young in my career, started out as a nurse with a degree in pharmacology and somehow ended up as an analyst for a bit telecoms company.
Since then I have been a ski instructor after being a db analyst for a couple of years then ended up in a dba. IT systems adminsitrator role before moving onto a big blue chip finance company as a software support engineer and general It systems and network support
Now working for a blue chip Global Pharmaceutical company as a db analyst/ systems support analyst with my first love of db's.
With a baby due in July im looking to move on now as quickly as I can in my career due to do my MCTS sql server 2005 at end of Jan 08 with Firebrand following on from my mcp xp achieved last year.
large amount of hands on expeience and problem solving skills due to roles i have worked in and only just realising the need to get certified to further myself.
