More bioIt's good to use the old grey ones to solve a riddle or two in too many areas. I like to help, but I've been told it's better to educate; so if you feel I'm educating more than helping, that's probably why :).
When it looks like I'm totally off-course, it's probably because I'm faking it and just found a neat site on Google from where I copied some high-profile comment *I* didn't understand, but it looked good so I just had to paste it in and act like it was from me. Sometimes it's just luck and it looks like I really had a clue - those are the comments you should be really afraid of. And when it looks like I'm educating (you know, I've been told ... oh, you heard that one before? Sorry to take your time.) it's mostly because I have even less of a clue and even Google couldn't help me.
One thing I can really do, however, is google. Yeah, it takes at least a long-tailed mountain monkey to paste the keywords from the question into that text-box on top, but hey, you do what you can.
If it looks like I'm out for points, that's probably (right) wrong: it's just plain fun here and I like spending way too much time doing this. Sometimes it's just easy to score a quick 500'er, so the points just seem to add up. And ever since I discovered The Lounge, you know my points aren't going to climb any more. Well, actually, once I'm number 1 then I won't be after them so much. But it's nice to see them accumulate anyhow. Now if only I could get them transfered to PayPal or something..... At least we don't have to pay taxes on points (or do you? I'm not going to tell them about it).
Been in the IT business since before it was called IT. Never had a high-profile job, but have enjoyed the several 15 minutes of fame we all get to grab (and enjoy not having to have a high-profile job :)). Oh, and my sarcasm sometimes falls out my fingertips, onto the keys and gets submitted on accident, or was that something else? Oh bother :))
