I've authored a book, "Building a SharePoint 2016 Home Lab - A How-to Reference on Simulating a Realistic SharePoint Testing Environment", and it is published by Apress.  It's a great book on how to get a base SharePoint farm stood up in a windows domain.  It teaches anyone who wants learn about SharePoint and what goes into a farm, how to get one started.  I'd recommend it if you're new to SharePoint or have never created a domain and just want a windows domain where you can develop stuff.

My Wife and I live just east of Tampa Florida.  I'm a Bolts fan for Hockey and a Detroit Tigers fan for Baseball.  I don't pledge allegiance to any professional football team, but Love the movie "Rudy" and am a serious Notre Dame football fan!  When I'm not providing fanatical support or learning about technology via books, blogs, and videos, you can find me either sleeping, or spending time with my Family and Friends, because after all, that's why we do it, to make the world a better place for our Family and Friends.  Own it like you Own it!
