Teacher and Developer. I've been programming and teaching folks how to use computers for a long time, with my focus building applications that store information in databases, mostly with Access (and what it can connect to, which is a lot!), and call in services from other Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as needed. I discovered databases and spreadsheets several decades ago, and love them! Words are also important, and I've been using Word to write and format since before it was a Windows application. Want to get creative and make a video? I can teach you how -- currently use Camtasia the most. I teach as we work together, whether it is building an application or producing a production. I love sharing what I know, learning more, empowering others and being appreciated. Connect to me, let's build it together. You can contact me on EE, or:
BSc. in Engineering and through the years have gotten to know about data in many other areas too. Like to teach and program and do both at the same time by connecting to you and team-developing together. Specialize in desktop applications. Have written hundreds (maybe thousands) of applications in various languages ... BASIC, FORTRAN, Pascal, C, C# …VBA, the language used by Microsoft Office applications, is my favorite since it is what I know best.
My passions include songwriting and singing, playing piano, gymnastics and ballet (now more of a spectator), bike riding, photography, animals, and children. I admire creativity in all forms ... art, sculpture, woodwork, metalwork, music, dance, story telling, theater, .... sounds of nature, the day as it is dawning or turning to night ... there is beauty everywhere. I even admire the slick talkers who lie through their teeth for being so quit-witted and charming. Most of all, I place importance on kindness and appreciation.
