My name is Gary Still.  I am a Senior Computer Engineering student finishing up my last year at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a reputable engineering school in Terre Haute, IN.  I joined this service to recieve help and post questions concerning software development for my senior design project.  I am workin on a team of 4 students in which we are designing hardware and software for a Motorola G24 module.  We are developing software which will read data through a serial port using the ModBUS protocol, buffer the data on chip, and trasmit the data wirelessly as a GPRS data packet via an MVNO service provider.  The development is in Java, and we have a development board donated from Motorola.  The code is being written on computers running Windows XP Pro.  The IDE is MotoDev Studio for JavaME V7.3.
