I have spent most of my life programming. Having a substantial background in Studio Art and Graphic Design gives me a distinct advantage with GUI programming.

I strive to develop applications that convey significant amounts of information as efficiently as possible. My goal is to create an interface that is both sophisticated and elegant. It should reflect the quality of the code behind it. Although the interface should never be overlooked, it cannot just look great. The application must also work well under real world use.

Specialties: I specialize in GUI, Web Based Programming. I have written major applications in Java, JSP, PHP, Python and ASP.NET/C# with Oracle, MySQL and MS SQL Server database backends on Unix (Sun, HP-UX, AIX), Windows and Linux platforms using AJAX, dhtmlx, jQuery, Smarty and Zend frameworks and libraries. I also am very well versed in PL/SQL, T-SQL, Unix Shells, Jython, Perl, Batch, etc. I hold certifications in PHP and Java.
