My name is Tom and I'm of German-Swiss decent, the first one in my family born in America.  I grew up playing lots of sports and getting in to a bit of trouble, and actually never owned a computer until I was 19.  I was not even allowed to really touch the family computer--so sacred was it.  After that I fell in love and took my first class on computers: how to build your own PC.  I build my own PC and destroyed it over and over learning from it.  Then I went to community college and vocational school learning basic programming, networking, PC and server repair, Linux and Windows administration, etc.  Besides computers I enjoy good people (that's maybe 20% of people, imo), politics, sports, smoking cigars, cooking my own coffee beans, and other stuff that makes life less boring.  Right now I work for myself and I outsource my labor to one large company; both jobs basically entail fixing and setting up computers and networks.
