I have been developing apps since 1991, starting with Turbo Pascal 4, GW Basic and Borland C/C++. Amstrad 6128 was my first computer followed by an Amstrad 1512 and a 1640 with two 5"1/4 floppy drives. At that time we were writing apps using overlays to fight memory and other resources' shortage. Many things have changed since back then but the love for programming remained the same.
Now days I run my own software company in Greece providing vertical solutions for the Hospitality Market. I am using Delphi as my main development tool for desktop applications and C# .Net for mobile devices. In terms of DBs my heart goes to Firebird and Oracle, using both in my projects, but mainly the first.
To come so far lots of people helped, one way or another, so I found EE to be a way to short of say, 'Thanks to all of them'
