More bioI am RETIRED after my 42nd year involved in IT, starting with the IBM 1401 in 1969, and then through the years moving on to COBOL, Apps Design and Programming, Assembler, MVS 360 and MVS 370 system programming, CICS, CMS, Electronic Printing and Publishing (the first time we could customize a document to the individual customer), PROFS, DISOSS, Electronic Graphing, then into Hypertext with Mac and HyperCard, Expert Systems and Knowledge bases. I say "not by choice" because I would rather spend all of my days sipping a tropical drink on a beach in front of my villa in any one of a number of tropical locations around the world! Life doesn't always work that way, though...
