I began in technician, support, and system administration roles in 1994 and I have built on this solid technical foundation to deliver as project manager, lead architect, or business owner roles in a huge variety of situations.
As PM, I have run multi-million BI infrastructures (including SAP BW, SAS, Teradata, and end-to-end warehousing solutions.)
As technical architect I have delivered a massive range of solutions with budgets from a few thousand pounds up to DW solutions for global banks with infrastructure spend of over £10m.
I have also run a small consultancy providing advice where project management, business requirements, and technical debate meet.
My proposition is a combination of leadership, architecture, and business understanding and an ability to speak both languages: business and IT architecture.
Recently my interest has moved back to the front line where the technology meets the user, and my detailed knowledge of Web 2.0 in practice is improving by the day.
