A Java Web Server by default runs on port no:8080, which is also referred to as port no:80. Every request that is sent to such a server is always stored in two files by name
1. event.log
2. access.log
So no special mechanism or effort is required to trap all the requests and then store them in a file. All the work in this context is taken care by the Java Web Server.
