If you've got an article about basic vulnerabilities there's a certain irony about asking readers to click onto a link when they don't know where it will take them.

There are three main lines of defense against ransomware:
-Network Security
-Data Backup and Recovery Policy
-User Education

Here are few tips to prevent from Ransomware attack:
- Keep your systems up to date by running Windows Update on a regular basis.
- Use updated Antivirus software on all systems and regularly check for the integrity of the information stored in the databases.
- Configure firewalls to block access to known malicious IP addresses.
- Scan all incoming and outgoing emails to detect threats and filter executable files from reaching end users.
