Came across this article this morning and have to say, the Will Ferrell ads poking fun at our dependence on technology are funny but also sadly true. Do any of you have "no phones at the dinner table" rules for your families to help you stay connected on a human level?

I have the old "maintain eye contact" rule.

I do have to be careful though, apparently I have an intense stare. A previous employee wrote some tongue in cheek New Years resolutions for me once and one of them was "Break eye contact at least once every 5 minutes to avoid awkward tearing up by the other party" :P
