Great tip for Surface Pro users Brandon, thanks for sharing it.
I often leave my (now old) iPad2 plugged in 24/7 next to my bed because I use it to listen to Audio Books that I buy from Audible and think something like that would be a top idea for that too. I'm surprised that IOS and Android developers haven't thought of including a feature like that for their devices. Wonder where I could make such a suggestion? Would make the various battery saving apps available all but obsolete.
