Good morning, fellow Apple friends! I feel like I've been the bearer of bad news lately, but this one is important. To be brief, tell your family/friends who own Macs that they need to be careful when opening attachments in their email. Oh, and that they need to get a real antivirus  (I recommend Intego Internet Security X9) because the Mac only has a built-in list called "File Quarantine" that catches known malware.

After reading the article it's clear that Apple lovers are slowly, but surely being targeted. =( Despite this sobering news, if you use security awareness and an antivirus application, you can successfully fend off this kind of malware.

Take care everyone and enjoy your Friday!

Apple seems like such a great target at this point - rather than being used by enthusiasts and early adopters Macs are quickly becoming the "status quo" due to their perception of being "cool". Lots of college students with $1200 Facebook machines these days!
