We are able to create Forms in Google Apps, which stores input data from users into spreadsheets.
Is there a way to do this in Office 365 using Sharepoint?

If you use a list in SharePoint you will have a data entry form (page) that saves the data and can be viewed in a spreadsheet style view (page). If you need the data in an Excel file, you can export the data to an Excel file.
