"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There are plenty of products out there that capture video. Some are cards you install in your computer (Q-Motion, Video Wave), others are external devices (Snappy). Many of the products come bundled w/software that does the converting for you, otherwise you'll need to buy a software package (Broadway Video Capture) that lets you convert the images into the format you want (mpeg, mov, avi). Then you can just upload the files to your webserver for play or download.

As a first step, I'd go to a search engin and enter some of the following "video conversion internet mpeg quicktime" That'll give you more than enough to start researching which way you want to go. It's not as simple as uploading a gif, but it's definitely do-able!f
