GV TPlat sript for OT/PPP?

I recently switched from FreePPP to Apple's OT/PPP 1.0, but the script
for OT/PPP does not include the GV Platinum 33.6 Internet Edition. There _is_ a script for the older GV Platinum/Gold which works, but it does not put the modem status bar up on the menu bar. I like the status bar because it enables me to visually monitor the status of the modem. My question is: How do I modify the script to put the status bar on the menu bar? Or, can anyone kindly provide me with a pre-written script for that purpose?

Thanks!

I believe there is a conflict with the GV status bar at this point in time. You should check with Apple about this to be sure though. I use the same modem as you and have never been able to get the status bar. My mother uses the 28.8 Platinum and she does not get the status bar either. I get the same effect by keeping OT/PPP open and placing it in the lower left corner of my display.

Hope this helps.
