I have a Mayo Clinic Family Health CD-ROM, which provides for a personal medical profile.  I have tried repeatedly to print my profile, which the CD provides instructions for, but every time I try, my computer freezes and I have to do a soft re-boot. Why is this happening and what can I do to stop it?
I know about taking pictures of my screen, but this still won't give me the format I need for my profile.  And every time I leave the profile, I lose all the data.  Your suggestion would work as for recording the info in a location where I could access it, but it doesn't address the root of what is causing the freeeze-up or why I keep losing my data.  Appreciate the efort, though. Can you try again?

try this, get to the screen with the info, type command-shift-3, this will snap a pic of the screen, open it (itll be loccated on the root directory of your HD as Picture 1, Picture 2, etc.) with simpletext and print that out.  take a pic for each screenfull of info.
