I am trying to check my e-mail at my college from my house computer using eudora light. i go to the settings and change the account adress to my college adress and then try checking my mail..eudora says "connection came up half way" coudl someone please tell me what or what i am not doing right...should i be typing my adress in differantly or what?

Make sure you go into the Hosts preference and put the address of the mail server in the SMTP field.
