I'm thinking of buying one of the above but I need to know how physically noisy it is. From what I've read, most of the direct competition has been criticised for fan noise. A comparison with a stock Quadra 650 (my current machine) would be useful. Thanks.

We've sold 100 of them and the fan noise of a Umax is very low, it might be compared to your Quadra 650 (or even lower). The noisiests fans are those of PowerComputing.
