Can't save Netscape 2.02 Bookmarks

I have a Performa 575 with 12mb and a 250 hard drive. I,m using Netscape 2.02
I was using PPP (the PPP was up and down and I had to connect several times to get a line) to connect to Netscape and this past weekend and when I tried to quit, I got the following messages:
1. Error saving bookmark file
2. There was an error writing the preferences. They will not be saved.
3. The error was: - 120
I have had 2.02 since it was released and never had a problem until this weekend.
Is there anything I can do to to get my Netscape to work properly again?

I've copied bookmarks and put them in the preferences folder but Netscape will not save the bookmarks.

Thanks
Ronnie

The error number you are referring to is:

-120  dirNFErr        Directory not found

Which means that it can't find the directory.  This is going to
be caused by one of two things:

1.  You have an error on your hard disk.  I might suggest
running Apple's Disk Tools or Norton Utilities Disk Doctor if
you have it.

2.  Your Netscape folder is corrupt.  Go into your System folder
and Preferences folder and move out any Netscape related files.
Run netscape and it should recreate the folders.
