Modem problem with Win95 OSR2

When I use DUN to connect to the internet and I get 3 unsuccessful dial attempts (e.g line busy), my modem refuses to dial out again until I reboot my machine! Is there some hidden setting somewhere which is causing this?

Go to control panel / modem / properties / advanced / connection settings (I think) and ensure that "required to connect" is NOT checked
