I established a password at windows startup assuming that no one could access windows without this password.  However, all one has to do is press the esc key and windows continues loading.  What good is the password if anyone can access windows?  How do I stop someone from loading windows without my permission?

some systems can have a password setup in your bios which will then not allow anything to run without it. that would probably be your best bet.
