Wallpaper Refresh Problem

Hello,

I have a Windows NT/95 Network. We have custom desktop wallpaper instaled
that is downloaded from the server, using Windows '95 User Profiles, every
time the user logs on. When a user runs a Windows-based program, then
exits the program, the Wallpaper looks "bleached out"...the colors are not
correct, it appears that the screen needs to be refreshed. However, there
is no easy way to fix this, and it often looks very annoying! Can you
think of any registry setting that we might tweak so that the wallpaper
refreshes correctly? Thanks in advance for you help.

This is not something which can be fixed in the registry. This is one of 2 possible problems.
1. You need updated video drivers for your video card.
2. Your video card is not fully supported by Windows 95.

I would recommend getting the latest Win 95 drivers for your video card. If that doesnt correct the problem try another video card and see if the problem goes away. If the video drivers doesnt fix the problem then a different video card will.
