audio cd

I installed win95 and lost the ability to play audio cd's.
Have tried other programs - cd players that is - and none
will play audio cd's either. When I had win3.1, they played
fine, but they won't with win95. All other software cd's
are ok...but not audio cd's. Help!! ....Thanks

Did you install the sound system drivers again for the cd rom,
9Adfd new Hardware, search=NO, pick the file, CDrom or Sound, and load the drivers)
When win95 loads it tries to overwrite the sound system files, and may be conflicting,
Also set the sound card to IRQ 5, or 11 DMA 1 ands it should work
