Do you know of any FTP places where I can upload my programs for free so that people can download my programs from my site.  I mean through a link to the FTP.  Is there any other way people can download from my site?

Do you want to store your programs on someone elses server and then from your own website link to them?

Is the reason for this that you do not have enough web space on your own site?

To store the programs on someone elses server is upto the server owner and very few will allow you to use their space for free.  Demon Internet have an FTP service like many ISP's and will allow you to upload programs to their FTP server which would be of use to other people.

If you have the webspace yourself but not the FTP facility then you can still download the programs from your own space by using the HTTP protocol.

simply upload the program to your website and then reference using:-

<A HREF="http://www.your-site.your-domain/your-directory/your-file">Filename</A>

There are no line breaks when using this code (that's just how it wraps on here)
